Centre News 

 Firstly we would like to welcome a new Milligan family member.  Congratulations to our Manager, Carrina and her family, on the happy arrival of their son Joel.  Another little baby to distract us from our work!

 The Bugstars voucher book will be ready for launch at the beginning of October—just in time for the Bunbury Kidsfest.  If you happen to be going to the Kidsfest, drop in at our stall and see this fantastic book that will have over $4000 worth of vouchers from local businesses available to you for just $25.  Orders can be taken at Kidsfest or you can call in at Milligan to purchase.  Great Christmas present for all the family!  Proceeds of this fundraiser will be shared equally between Milligan and Tenderfeet.  Tenderfeet is an organisation that owns an education centre in the slums of Kenya and along with providing education, they also provide two meals a day and medical attention to the local children.  So, a fantastic cause to support.

 Milligan courses are all doing very well with the languages and computer classes being the most popular.            Although, saying that, our cooking class and photography class are giving them a run for their money.  We also have a casual craft group that meet every fortnight.  So, if you want to make some new friends or need some help with a particular craft, come along and join in the fun.  School holidays will see some fun activities       happening as well.  We have a craft and cooking session scheduled for the 2nd week of holidays for 7—10 year olds.   

 Also, we are always on the lookout for people with any skills or knowledge that they would like to share. Contact us and we can arrange for you to teach a class or a one off workshop.
