Centre News 

We have had a fantastic start to the year. Some of our courses have proven so popular that we have had to provide additional courses to accommodate the many requests.

The Chef’s Long Table Lunch in February was great and the money we received as beneficiaries will provide some valuable resources for our programs.

We have also just received a Lotterywest grant to upgrade some of our facilities. So this term we will be getting 7 new computers, a set of drums for new workshops, a digital camera, CD players, gardening equipment and an air compressor.

We will be holding a quiz night at the commercial club in June. Please keep an eye out around the centre for more information on this as it gets closer.

Our courses are listed on pages 2,3 and 4 so please browse them and join up as soon as you can to ensure a place in your chosen course. 

Our community Toy Library is running on alternate Monday’s 9.00-10.30am and Thursday’s 5.30-6.30pm. Toy Library costs just $25 per year for a one child family. Our playgroup sessions are continuing with Milligan Moppets on a Monday or Thursday morning; and also a playgroup on Wednesdays mornings for young mums (under 23) and their children.

Also, we are always on the lookout for people with any skills or knowledge that they would like to share. Contact us and we can arrange for you to teach a class or a one off workshop.
