Welcome to Term 4, and the busy rush to the end of the year!! As usual Milligan has a fantastic program full of adult learning courses for your enjoyment. October is a busy month for Milligan, with Carers Week and Children’s Week, and all the community events that come along with them both. Children’s Week is an annual celebration of children across Australia.

Playgroup sessions are continuing with Milligan Moppets on a Monday or Thursday morning.

The Homework Centre is still going strong, providing one-on-one tuition for Primary school children for just $15 per term (based on one session/ week and not including membership

Also if you have a skill or knowledge that you think may benefit others please let us know. We can arrange for you to teach a class or a one off workshop.

Congratulations to Tuesday Writer’s Group Members, Ken and Liz, for winning a $100 gift voucher each for their 25 word entry into the Australia Post favourite postcodes holiday destination competition.

Our 60’s and 70’s themed quiz night was a huge success with funds raised for Milligan and some of our popular programs. Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who helped prior to and on the night.
